Melanie Noble
Bio:
With more than two decades of experience in Montessori education, Melanie Noble is widely recognized for her deep expertise, her compassionate approach to supporting children, and her unwavering commitment to neuroaffirming, inclusive practice. She completed her AMI Primary training at the Foundation for Montessori Education in Toronto and has dedicated her career to ensuring that all children—especially neurodivergent learners—can flourish in thoughtfully prepared Montessori environments.
Melanie’s work is grounded in the belief that every child is capable, competent, and deserving of learning experiences that honour their strengths, identities, and nervous systems. She brings a rich interdisciplinary background: training as an Intervenor at the Geneva Centre for Autism, Self-Reg in Early Childhood certification through the MEHRIT Centre, Blomberg Rhythmic Movement training, and the Inclusive Education certificate from the Montessori Institute of San Diego.
In 2022, Melanie completed the Montessori Core Principles Course through the Montessori Institute of North Texas. The combined depth of her AMI 3–6 training, Inclusive Education specialization, Montessori Core Principles certification, and interdisciplinary training places her among a very small number of Canadian educators with this breadth of expertise in Montessori pedagogy and neurodiversity-informed practice.
As the founder of Red Maple Montessori, Melanie provides professional development workshops, family education sessions, and individualized consultation services for schools seeking to better understand and support neurodiverse learners. Her work blends Montessori philosophy, neuroaffirming approaches, and evidence-based strategies to create learning environments where every mind belongs.
